Qualifications
The Vietnamese American Scholastic Achievement Awards Committee is accepting application for the 2017-2018 awards. Students must meet all of the following qualifications and requirements. The Committee will not consider any applications that is incomplete and/or missing any of the required documents.
- Be a Vietnamese/Vietnamese-American student attending the first through twelfth grade in any school in the County of Sacramento in 2017-2018.
- Have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.50 and higher for the entire academic year of 2017-2018.
- Submit report cards of the entire academic year of 2017-2018. If an end-of- the-year report card is submitted, it must show the student's grades for all the semesters, trimesters or quarters for the 2017-2018 academic year. (Please check with your child's school to see if the school is on a semester, trimester, or quarter calendar. You must submit report cards for all the semesters, trimesters, or quarters.)
- Attend the Vietnamese American Scholastic Achievement Awards Ceremony on Saturday, August 4, 2018 from 9:00a.m. to 12:00 noon at Cosumnes River College (8401 Center Parkway, Sacramento, CA 95823.)
- Complete the "Award Application" form. You can download this form from our website.
- All report cards and documents must be postmarked by July 12, 2018 to the

Recipients will be notified by July 21, 2018.
